CHRISTMAS EVERYDAY?

The atmosphere was replete with joy, the faces of people was painted with glittering glee, and the world was filled with HOPE.

It didn't happen once upon a time, it happen a long time ago in one cold starry night at Bethlehem. Where a baby boy was born who slept in a manger with his father and mother. There were kings who also traveled a long long way just to give gifts and bow down to this child. Angels across the sky came down rejoicing and glorifying the child.

While sitting in the corner the cold breeze embraced and wrapped my whole soul, the mist of the air kissed me. I can see many colorful lights surrounding the city, I can hear those voice singing this songs over and over, I can feel it--It's CHRISTMAS!

I can always remember how my Mom would tell me about this story. Its story is more than that fairy tales depicting about a prince saving his princess nor a myth of something or a tale about spectacle fairies in Magic land. It is something more. Its story is more than special.

The birth of this child named Jesus Christ was the start of everything the incipient of yuletide season. As December approaches we also begin to decorate our homes, put lanterns, Christmas lights, prepare mouth-watering food, expensive gifts for our love ones but is this the true essence of Christmas ?

Well, it seems like the spirit of Christmas is fading. Let us be reminded that the significance of Christmas is to be celebrated not just for a day--but everyday!

It's not about merry making, not about delicious food, not about expensive gifts nor decors. I was was when God sent his only begotten Son Jesus Christ to save us from our sins. The time when we were all enlightened.

Let Christmas be practice everyday from now and then...Spread the good news, Spread goodness, Spread joy and spread the LOVE.

Merry Christmas to you! Merry Christmas tommorow! Merry Christmas to the next days! And Merry Christmas forever!

TLE ICT IV KNOCKS OUT GIMCY

On the red corner weighing 54 kg, wearing red checkered skirt, white shirt, and black shoes with white socks. The holder of the title SUPERFEATHER WEIGHT CHAMPION, no other than the undefeated GIMCY T. DE LA FUENTE. And on the blue corner is the contender, weighing 100 megabytes, wearing nothing and the title holder of pound for pound champion is the TLE ICT IV. Let's get ready to rumble!

On the last round, gimcy gave an uppercut making TLE ICT IV lost his control on the round. Yet the subject was back in the game blowing gimcy's head off and knocking her down!

The bell rings. Ting! Ting! Ting! and the contender stole the title and left the champion defeated.

The second quarter has ended and it felt like a boxing match between me and TLE ICT IV. The feeling was also a roller coaster. There were times when I was in the gaga to the study my lessons. And there were also times that I was bittered. Well, actually this grading was repleted with "disturbances". As if I have learned NOTHING because of so many activities we had. TIME IS PRECIOUS. You waste a minute and you waste a glimpse of that moment in your lifetime.

In the subject TLE ICT IV, it was the other way around. It was FUN and truly HELPFUL in my part because I'm now knowledgeable enough to know the whats and does of tags. Not only that, this lesson had taught me to pimp profile in our friendster accounts. TAGS are indeed useful. The only thing which made it difficult was when there were so many works but SO LITTLE TIME.

I wish I had more time with you TLE ICT IV. I wish I had more days playing with the tags and html and all that. And I wish I had wished and realized this from the very start. So ,what does gimcy need to ameliorate next grading? She needs to push more efforts and bring back the spirit she had from the first grading. She needs to value time. She craves for the title back--SHE WANTS A REMATCH! :)

ARE YOU LOOKING FOR SUPERMAN OR SUPERWOMAN?

I can picture them sipping their coffee at the table trying to finish some paper works they brought home. The sky is painted with black but still they are doing it. I can see how dedicated they are—how they love their work, their job, and their passion—THEIR LIFE…
Every time I would go to school I would look at them. And I’m confused when I see them. They are very occult… There is something elite within them that I can’t elucidate. I bowled over how: they would conceal those eye bugs, which gets bigger and bigger;
Those wrinkles due to stress; and those nonchalant smiles though they are also having a hard time. They can still bear walking around the campus in spite of these scenarios. They don’t say any word about their pains, they don’t even whine—THEY NEVER DID. Still, they try to contour us in the best they can. Aiming to inspire us... Trying to touch our lives…
As always I have amaze transformers fighting the evil decepticons, the moves of the powerpuff girls, the prominent power rangers and even superman who as always save the day-- a paradigm of a true hero. But it’s only a product of our wild imagination and since then I have fancied them. Poof! Does this creature exist? Wow! That day would be a dream and that would be so cool! I HAVE FOUND A SECRET. (Promise me that you’ll not tell it to anybody). I HAVE SEEN HEROES AND HEROINES... Ssshhh, they do exist. Believe me.
They are not birds, nor a plane, they can’t lift a car or a building—Just an average joe with a big endeavor. Do you know them? We don’t know because we are busy amazing fictional heroes. they don’t have super powers! Yet they are humans, who have an unimaginable ability. THEY DO WHAT SUPERMAN CAN’T DO! And they consider their profession MORE THAN TEACHING. And they are very powerful: they have wisdom plus the power to push as students to figure out what we want to do in our life. They are the lights that guide us from the darkest roads of our lives. They are water that quenches thirst of ones’ body. They are candles that burns themselves which illuminates one’s mind. They are a knack from God.
WITHOUT TEACHERS: there would be NO LAWYERS, NO ENGINEERS, NO ACCOUNTANTS and NO DOCTORS—everything!
At home they build a strong family and at school they are like farmer that plants a good seed to have a good harvest in the future. WHAT A NOBLE PROFESSION THEY HAVE! Indeed these teachers are far better than them. Indeed, OUR TEACHERS ARE TRUE HERO. :)
LET US MAKE EVERYDAY A TEACHERS’ DAY!

A million thanks to our superma’amS and supersirS!

WIKANG FILIPINO: MULA BALER HANGGANG NGAYON.. :)

Under the deep blue sea there was a humble and beautiful mermaid. She's glib in speaking tagalog (the language of filipinos). But she's NOT included to what will I blog for today, so let's go on.. :)
Adobo, Balot, Empanada, Palawan, Baguio, Manny Pacquio, and Charice Pempengco does this ring a bell to you? or somehow familiar? It is because it's the emblem of the LAHING KAYUMANGGI--The Filipinos. If the language they use in America is English, In France is French, In China is chinese, how about in the Philippines? Is there a need for me to ask what it is? Of course, its the Wikang Filipino and nothing more!
The Wikang Filipino symbolizes us Filipinos. The identity of our nation--The one that make-up our being as a full blooded Filipino. Don't you know? That only Filipinos use this kind of language? Yes! It's true. It's One of the reasons why we are very perculiar to other countries.
Now the question is, Do you value our languge? It's not like a gum that when your tired of chewing it ,you'll put it else where nor a paper that you'll crumple and throw it to the garbage. It's not like that! So, There's a need for us to use and treasure our language--The key for progress and change. We should love and give importance to it. Let's remember that without Manuel L. Quezon spreading the Wikang Filipino in BALER--we will never understand each other. For sure, WE ARE NOT UNITED. And I would'nt express how worthy it is. :)
AKO MISMO ANG GAGAMIT AT MAGMAMAHAL SA ATING WIKANG PILIPINO! :)

Adapting Diverse Science Culture for Development. (i found it in my dreams)

It was 12 in the midnight and still I’m cramming to make an interesting blog about my insights of the theme: “Adapting to Diverse Science Culture for Development”. Time is ticking and my brain won’t work. So as I dragged myself to Dreamland my eyes tried to wander in the vast dark sky through the window. The stars were attention-grabbing. Fascinating! But the moonlight ruled the Sky; I was hypnotized and mesmerized—until I felt…..
An engine popped into the pane. I was in a maze and at the same time I was amazed. Without much hesitation I jumped in the “flytimine” which I called the peculiar flying engine and started to push some buttons. At first I was filled with anxiety yet it was abated. I WENT BACK TO TIME—TO THE PAST… While travelling I visualized many of the scientist who made a huge contribution in making life lighter and made the earth a happier place to live in. “Gone where those days when Edison lightened the world? When Graham Bell created a better communication? When Aristotle proposed his theories and principles? When Albert Einstein formulated E=mc2? Can you still remember?” The engine asked. Shocking! The engine has a life itself! He talked to me.“ Hey you! Don’t you know that without these brilliant people, you should have never moved forward? It is because Science Culture which your fore-fathers made have changed many things for the betterment of this world. These brought you to the so called “Modern World” you have today!” He added.
I heard my Mom calling for my name. I opened my eyes and I FOUND MYSELF DREAMING! I come to a realization after the dream that I had. After seeing those Scientist, bracing ourselves to conformed science culture have led us to development and will still lead us for another step of progression--If only, we use these inventions in a right way. Let’s be thankful to our great scientists and soon for the future scientists. LET’S DAZZLE TO THE WONDERS OF SCIENCE CULTURE FOR PROGRESS!

(I guess there’s no need for me to crammed my blog because I accidentally made one—thanks to that dream!)

GIMCY VERSUS TLE ICT IV

The water in the well run-drys.. A cocoon becomes a butterfly.. The seed burgeons to a seedling.. All of us can never be a child for too long.. Nothing is permanent--Nothing. A different period shall be unfold in my life. Another chapter, more experience, more learnings and more challenges... (awww!)
In the first quarter I have learned a lot from the subject TLE-ICT IV. It touches more on internet which helped me to be more familiar in the internet world. It's history, it's components, search engines, how to mine the internet and etc. eased my burdens in browsing the internet. Now I know how to create and to LOVE BLOG.
Glitches is ubiquitous--We'll never run-out of quagmire. You know why? Because it's a tool to make us stronger. It abates our fears and help us to move forward. These fast few months I had difficulties in our lesson in TLE. I was in a maze. The thing is I don't understand why there's a need for us students to know the history of internet and blogging. Even it's importance to us... hole in the wall? sugara mitra? Marc andreesen? Arpanet? yakidakdak and blah! blah! blah! Why and why? BUT... NOW I FIGURE OUT IT'S WORTH. It's useless that were using internet without knowing its significance and history, blogging without a purpose, facebook, friendster, twitter and etc. How rubbish if that's the case. THANKS TO TLE ICT IV I'M FREE FROM IGNORANCE WHEN IT COMES TO INTERNET. :)))
I know the change must start within me--it's not her nor him but me. I know I'm not a fiasco so I need to solve this. To cope-up, I worked harder. I did some strategy to help myself. I have to ameliorate my study habits. I made myself ebullient so that it wouldn't be difficult for me. Though this is incipient i know i can do better. There's a plenty of room for learning.
Embittered, I'll be more pompous and diligent in studying our lessons in TLE. I need to alleviate my bad attitude for my own sake. A positive outlook will build my self-esteem to be more active. I have to be more mature in facing life's challenges than being a puerile. I can see flying colors... I KNOW. I WILL. I CAN.

SEVENTH MONTH.

:>FLASHBACK FROM JULY.

Time flies so fast when your enjoying, right? Here comes the seventh month of the year and it thrills me what should i do this july.
Sitting next to loneliness i'd tried to think, think, and think. And BOOM! The first thing that popped into my mind was what we usually celebrate--the NUTRITION MONTH.
When this time comes their are so many questions that bothered me. Like, what's all about this nutrition month? Why do they need to have such activities? How or can it benefit me?
Food festival, Nutri-jingle, Nutri-quiz, Mural painting, Oratorical contest, Poster-slogan making and Cookfest. Joining in this activities I have realized that it contributes a lot to students to develop their hidden skills. Such activities serves as a stepping stone for students to build their self-esteem.
Nutrition Month has been a tool for us to be aware of what's happening around us. It is my first time to encounter the term "lifestyle diseases" from the WASTONG NUTRISYON KAILANGAN: LIFESTYLE DISEASES AY IWASAN. This theme accentuated that we should be concious about our nutrition. As what they say "Good health creats endless happiness". But do we really know what is the meaning of good nutrition? Health is wealth. It is very vital because without it living in this world is not worth it. Our life is progressing so as we move to many alterations this also affects our lifestyle. And now we suffer... :((
So be aware and be alert my friend!
SEVENTH MONTH WILL ALWAYS BE A MEMORABLE ONE. *sigh*

TALK ME NOT :)

Talk me not if your rude.
Talk me not if your disrespectful.

Language has always been a part of our lives. It plays a vital role for us to understand one another. It has been a threshold for exaltation--a key for progression. Language has been a way to explicit ones manifestation. Without it I can't imagine how the world would look like? Well, that would be bizarre.
SPEAK TO ME IN TAGALOG. Here in Philippines tagalog is prominent the fact that it's the country's language. We should speak in this language because it is ours. We, the Filipinos should use and mastertagalog before trying to use other languages. Besides, we must be dauntless in speaking tagalog. It's one of the emblem of Filipino which makes us unique from the other countries.
SPEAK IN ENGLISH. We all know that English is the in the international language. Lets concede that whenever or wherever we are english is used. And through english different countries unite notwithstanding the differences in languages. English is ubiquitous that's why there's a need for us to learn and practice english.

SPEAK TO ME IN ENGLISH OR TAGALOG WITH KINDNESS. Putting a cup of decorous while speaking in this languages is much better. We'll be a debonair if we speak in a kind way. We'll also get more deference if we do this. Will it benefit us if we talk in a boorish way? I don't think so. Lets bear in mind that being humble is not that bad!

PRACTICE! To speak in this languages WITH KINDNESS dovetails. Just practice and soon you'll be glib in speaking. X)

TALK TO ME POLITELY.

TALK TO ME WITH KINDNESS.

PLEASE!
